Alan Jackson: A Regular Guy (1994)

Alan Jackson began as a mechanic. Then he picked up a guitar. Now, 2 houses, four boats, nine or 10 Harley-Davidson, an assortment of cars & trucks, and a set of platinum albums later, Alan Jackson is still very much a usual guy. In fact, if you converse to him about his singing, he more than likely to evade the question. Because even though every new album Alan Jackson sells a million more than its predecessor, this state boy from Newnan, Georgia, still does not know what all the fuss is about. I don’t like to hear me sing, "the multi award-winning singer told Country Weekly.” Because I do not sound like George Jones or Merle Haggard or Vern Gosdin "So, even though he might believe its more globe country crooner, one thing that is clear about: Other people do.

At the Academy of Country Music Awards in May, when he was not stuck in the co-hosting responsibilities with Reba McEntire, he was busy catching trophy-single & album of the year. Fans whose votes decide the News Country Awards TNN Music City, providing him a sweep near the top honors including performer of the year at the show last month. It is something I have thought for a long time, "Superstar gently, recently told an audience in TNN Music City This newly night." I have had the fan club for four or five years and have done very well. However I always thought it a little strange had to charge people to be in it. I mean, it is an organization for those who are serious and dedicated. I know they obtain something for their money; however I have decided I do not desire to load more. So what about those who have already paid to join? They obtain a $10 credit toward the buy of Alan Jackson products from the fan club.
