Hear Alan Jackson Turn To 'Jim And Jack And Hank' In New Single

Boot scootin 'song works as a preview of upcoming album, Angels & Spirit'

Alan Jackson has released his first single since last year's "A Million Ways to Die", asking the hum of his new album, Angels and alcohol, a month before its release. Written by "Chattahoochee" crooner himself, "Jim and Jack and Hank" is rooted in the spirit of two staggered early nineties the country, doubling as a sign that angels and alcohol - which hits after a couple of albums exploring gospel and bluegrass music - marks a return to Jackson early country.

During the first verse of the song, Jackson sick girlfriend leaves him for good acceleration out of town with the dog couple in the shotgun seat. Angry, Jackson becomes the bottle - and Bocephus - for comfort. While the company is Jim Beam, Jack Daniels and Hank Williams (father and son, apparently, since both are mentioned), he did his need to stay.

Along with the title track Angeles and alcohol, a traditional ballad resonance has become a fan favorite during his Keeping Country Tour "Jim and Jack and Hank" is one of the few songs of Jackson advance from next album. Produced by longtime partner Keith Stegall, the record hits stores July 17, with Jackson playing a handful of shows - including an upcoming performance at the Rock the South benefit show in Cullman, Alabama - in the meantime.
